Description
Silver Needle White Tea, also known as Baihao Yinzhen, was first created in 1796 in Fuding County, Fujian Province. Made from single buds, it is the most prized among the various white teas.
MONTLEAF’s 2024 Fuding Silver Needle White Tea is sourced from a tea plantation area in Fuding, with an average altitude of 600 meters. It is made from the single buds of the Fuding Dahao tea variety. The buds are plump, some accompanied by tender young leaves, they are silver-green in color, and covered with loose fuzz.
The tea offers a fresh and sweet flavour, with scents of pekoe and flower, suitable for those who prefer a lighter and more natural taste. This tea is also good for with long-term storage, with time it would become even more mellow and rich in flavour.
How to Brew:
Use a covered tea bowl, take 4-5 grams of tea and brew it with 120ml of water of 90-100 °C, leave it for 10-45 seconds before serving.
